Daily Care

Pearls are organic gemstones that are vulnerable to acid, alkaline and extremes of humidity. To preserve your pearls’ radiance, avoid letting them come into contact with cosmetics, hair spray, or perfume. Always put on your jewelry as a final touch, after applying make-up and styling hair.

The pearl’s lustre can also be harmed by perspiration. To prevent this, before returning your pearls to the jewelry box, wipe them gently with a soft cloth.

Cleaning

If the radiance of your jewellery appears to be diminishing, take it to a specialist. An ultrasonic cleaner should never be used with pearl jewellery as it can damage the pearls.

CARING FOR SEMI PERICIUS  STONE

Precious and Semiprecious stones are extremely present in the Torse DNA, and therefore also in many of our creations. These stones are mostly mineral, and demand particular care.

Turquoise

This is an opaque mineral with hues between blue and green, its pale bluish streaks make it very unique. This gemstone is sensitive to water and heat which can both cause surface damage.

Agates

Agates are generally tough stones, but the best cleaning method for tree agate is to simply use a soft brush. It is not recommended to use harsh chemicals when cleaning agate gemstones.
